This play deals with the issue of bullying and the fact that physical confrontation never really solves any problem. 11 year-old Adam Fry takes up bird watching to get some solitude whilst his mother, unbeknown to the local community, is in prison. The local ‘gang’ leader Daniel finds out about the bird-watching and makes merciless fun of Adam, egging on his mates to do the same. But when Daniel finds out what’s happened to Adam’s mother and why Adam really goes bird-watching, he has a re-think of his attitudes, keeps the secret and even takes up bird watching himself!
