Quondam

Dragonfly is a partnership between Quondam and Cumbria Care, the Cumbria-wide statutory provider of day care for people with learning disabilities. Dragonfly members enjoy touring the County with their shows, visiting care homes, schools, day centres and theatres. This partnership is one of the best examples in the country of successful collaboration between two organisations from different fields.

Quondam scripts the shows and arranges the tours, Cumbria Care staff direct the shows for the stage. Our professionals are also briefed to develop the artistic abilities of the Cumbria Care support staff.

Dragonfly operates in Eden District on Tuesdays and Carlisle on Thursdays. Each group has about 20 members who all have different learning disabilities, but they do have one thing in common: talent!
